Assistant Chief Timothy J. Lamere, of Constable (Franklin County, NY) Volunteer Fire Department, collapsed at home following department training yesterday. Fairport Firefighters responded this afternoon to assist the police with identifying some chemicals that they found. Command declared a level 0 haz mat to assist with identifying the chemicals. The chemicals were Identified and the scene turned back over to the police. The incident is under investigation.
