Working Fire

Rochester Firefighters responded this afternoon for the report of a house fire on North Goodman St. Engine 9 went on location with smoke showing from the rear of a residential structure. Truck 6 reported a possible person trapped in a second floor bedroom, and that they were starting a rescue. Battalion 1 assumed command and reported a working fire on the second floor of a large 2 1/2 story residential structure. Engine 12 responded as the RIC while Engine 1 was special called to assist. The the fire was under control in about 20 minutes and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
