Barnard Firefighters responded yesterday for the report of a building fire on Denise Rd and Windsor Rd at the old school. While responding, units were advised the fire was behind the building. First in units went on location and reported a small garage fire behind the main church building. The fire was quickly extinguished and the cause of the fire is under investigation. North Greece responded mutual aid to the scene.
On December 24, 2012 two West Webster Volunteer Firefighters were murdered and two firefighters injured when they responded for a house fire on Lake Rd.
